From one-time exhibition to a reusable content platform
Museums have immersive infrastructure, but lack flexible content to unlock its potential. We transformed XR CAVE Wall from a passive display into a scalable interactive platform for continuous learning experiences.
User adaptive experience system, not another exhibition
Touch the Wall is a modular XR platform that separates content from infrastructure, allowing it to operate across different museum setups.
Based on user insights, we designed an all-in-one XR platform strategy that delivers adaptive experiences, faster content cycles, and IP-driven immersive environments.
Grand Prize from Ministry of Education Award
The project won 1st place in a national-level competition by demonstrating a strong connection between user research, scalable product strategy, and emerging technology!
Museums don't lack immersive technology. They lack a system.
Museum exhibitions are often constrained by fixed installations, making it difficult to rapidly adapt to changing educational demands. While immersive infrastructures such as CAVE Walls were introduced to increase flexibility, the lack of a scalable content ecosystem has limited their long-term value. This revealed an opportunity to transform existing immersive spaces into continuously evolving learning platforms.
We spoke with 50+ visitors across age groups.
By surveying 47 visitors and conducting 6+ interviews with visitors and exhibition operators, we uncovered the hidden barriers limiting immersive exhibition experiences.
operational burden
Unequal experience quality
Not just a platform. An evolving experience ecosystem.
By combining flexible architecture with user-driven content design, we created an XR platform and its IP contents where both the system and the experience can continuously evolve.
Turning physical spaces into interactive environments
Adaptive Spatial Interaction
Designed a flexible interaction layer that enables touch-like experiences across different immersive environments.
Inclusive Interaction System
Built adaptive interaction flows that adjust to different body conditions and user behaviors.
Multi-user Immersive Learning
Created spatial multiplayer experiences where 6 users can collaboratively or solely explore and learn.
Build what users truly want
This project reinforced my belief that great products are not created by technology alone. Through user research, collaboration, and continuous iteration, I learned that the most valuable solutions come from identifying real human needs and designing systems that bridge the gap between complex technology and everyday experiences.
